Native Advertising

One of my primary responsibilities as Digital Creative Director is to lead all of the native creative for Smithsonian magazine’s digital advertising proposals and buys. I have worked with a wide range of multi-national advertising partners, including HP, Netflix, and Pfizer.

My process varies based on the goals and objectives of each proposal. But generally, my process includes aligning on a tight creative brief, conducting significant background research on the client, and connecting with our editorial team to select the most relevant content. My approach is highly collaborative and flexible, making sure the assets align with the advertiser’s branding and deliver on the needs and objectives of the assignment.
